1 to 6 show the entrance going into the Great Pillared Hall, with 8 large Ramesses II statues, #6 an illustration by Louis Haghe after the David Roberts
expedition, published in 1849, showing the temples abandoned, with sand lining the floors.

7 to 9 show Ramesses II and his soldiers, a couple of them with horses in chariots during battle.

10 and 11 show two versions of Ramesses II worshipping the falcon-headed god Horus, god of the sky and of kingship.
