Below: Pictures 1 and 2 show the residence of the American Major Goethals, who successfully ran the effort to build the Panama Canal.
Pictures 3 to 9 show sights on the Amador Causeway, which was built from rocks and other materials taken out of the Canal during building.
Picture 8 shows (on the right) the old boat owned by Al Capone and left in Panama when he was sent to Prison on tax evasion.
Picture 9 shows the almost complete Panama Historical Museum, designed by Canada's own Frank Gehry, who married a Panama woman.
Pictures 10 and 11 are views along the causeway highway at low tide, one of the modern City, and San Francisco Cathedral in Casco Viejo.
