1 to 4 show the Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile, two of the four large wall sculptures, La Paix de 1815 (#2) and La Résistance de 1814 (#3),
both these by Antoine Étex, and also ceiling carvings.

5 and 6 are views along the Avenue des Champs-Élysées.

7 and 8 show the Panthéon, originally built by the Louis XV to be a church dedicated to St. Genevieve, but after the French Revolution it became
a monument and burial location for prominent French citizens.

9 shows the church beside the Panthéon.
