1 is the Pont au Change, featured in the novel Les Misérables by Victor Hugo. Police Inspector Javert is torn because Jean Valjean saved his life,
so he throws himself into the Seine from the Pont au Change. This is an area for romantic couples visting Paris to place "love locks", and throw away
the key, locking their love forever till the end of time. Or until authorities believe they cause too much weight on the bridge, and have them cut off.
