Above: The ingredients we could put into our homemade chocolate bars, such as cinnamon, salt, cayenne
pepper, milk powder (for milk chocolate), cocoa butter (for white chocolate) vanilla and brown sugar.
1 to 5 ... show the growing cocoa plants (1-3), dried cocoa beans (4) and the three states of the cocoa bean (5).
6 to 11 ... two volunteers grind the cocoa beans for our use, in making our own chocolate bars, baking them in little plastic bags, then freezing them ...
I used the cocoa, vanilla and brown sugar to make dark chocolate.
