Trip to Europe: Lucca
July 2010

The Duomo di San Martino (pictures one to four) is a gothic cathedral with a wooden carving of Christ said to have been carved by Nicodemus of ancient times, and miraculously brought to Lucca in 782, now housed in the tempietto (picture three by Jean-Christophe Benoist), and a Tintoretto version of the Last Supper. Pictures five and six are from the Museo e Pinacoteca Nazionale. Pictures seven and eight are of Basilica di San Giovanni.
