Trip to Europe: Lucca
July 2010

Now in Lucca, the picturesque capital of, surprisingly, the province of Lucca, it is a town with a perfectly intact 16th century wall (pictures one to four, and the panoramic) surrounding the main part of the town. The Duomo di San Martino (pictures five and eight to ten) is a quite large cathedral begun in 1063, but worked on in earnest beginning in 1204 and the final chapel done in 1484.
