Canadian Open Tennis Tournament

Went to the National Bank Canadian Open Tennis Tournament at York University, in the blazing sunshine and highs around 34 C with Franco Cerullo ... yes, we did look for whatever
shade could be found, and found some. We saw first round matches featuring American Mackenzie McDonald beating veteran Belgian David Goffin in straight sets 6-4, 6-4,
then Australian Aleksandar Vukic defeating Spaniard Pedro Martinez in straight sets 7-5, 6-3 and lastly American Argentine Francisco Comesana beating Bosnian Damir Dzumhur 6-3, 7-5.
We also saw a number of higher seeds practicing, such as number one seed, German Alexander Zverev, 3rd seed Italian Lorenzo Musetti, 6th seed Russian Andrey Rublev,
10th seed Russian Daniil Medvedev, 13th seeded Italian Flavio Caboli, plus Canadian seeds Felix Auger-Aliassime and Denis Shapovalov. Here are a few pictures from the day.
