On Day 7, after getting back to Fira, I toured the St. John The Baptist Catholic Cathedral. After walking through Fira to the hotel, I took a couple of hours to read and laze by the pool, until it was time for dinner and another beautiful sunset.

Above: Inside the St. John The Baptist Roman Catholic Cathedra, serving as the cathedral for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Santorini, created in 1204 with the arrival of the Venetians. The church was built in 1823 and completely restored and rebuilt in 1970 after the 1956 earthquake.

1 and 2 show the walk into Fira and like in many places around the world, romantic couples can "lock" their love forever. I'm sure it works.

3 and 4 show the front of the St. John The Baptist Roman Catholic Cathedral in Fira.
started prior to Greece's financial trouble, and leaving them in this state instead of finishing them greatly reduces the property tax.

5 shows the pool of the Astir of Thira Hotel.

7 shows a not pleased cat wanting to share some lamb chops, but not gettting the chance.

8 to 10 show views in first southern Fira, along the town's main street and northern Fira near sunset.
