On Day 1, I arrived in San Francisco and was met by Donna at the airport. She drove me downtown and we drove and walked around the harbour area including Candlestick Park; the
Marketplace and Ferry terminal;
Ghirardelli Chocolate factory area; the most crooked street in the world, Lombard Street; Boudin Bakery for excellent Clam/Crab Chowder in a sourdough bowl; Fisherman's Wharf
and their sea lions; a Blue and Gold Cruise around San Francisco Bay, featuring Alcatraz Island, Angel Island, the Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco skyline;
and finally a home cooked meal of coq au vin courtesy of Donna, with Andy entertaining on his exotic Moroccan instrument.
