Above: On the bus driving through western Normandy, about 15 minutes from Mont-Saint-Michel.
1 to 3 show three of about a dozen painted cows on the shuttle to Mont-Saint-Michel.
4 to 6 show the Mont-Saint-Michel Bay, and the island, at low tide, virtually no water is in the bay.
7 to 10 show me and other visitors walking on the bay floor, which just after noon, was already pretty dry.
11 shows the view of the Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey from the floor of the bay.
