9 is one of several "Kouloures", pits surrounded by stones found at Knossos, Phaistos and other Ancient Crete sites. Arthur Evans speculated they were
used as garbage pits. Others at Knossos thought they were water cisterns based on the long water trough there, but the Kouloures are not waterproofed.
A more common speculation is that they were used a granary to store excess grain from harvests for use for both trade and winter consumption.

10 shows the shops of Heraklion along the pestrian boulevard.

11 is the Heraklion Theatre.

12 shows statue of the Unknown Soldier in Eleftheria Square.
