Above: A view above the clouds from the side of Mt. Haleakala, from the van as we descend to our bike rendezvous.

Picture 4 shows the science observatory at the top of Mt. Haleakala. One bounces lasers off the moon to measure
tectonic movements on earth. A NASA one has powerful telescopes which observe astroid movement in space.
Pictures 5 to 8 are views from the van as we descend the volcano to our bikes.

Picture 10 and 11 is the view from a stopping point about 6000 ft. above sea level.
