The Varsity Girls Flag Football team opened their season at home against the Fletcher's Meadow Arrows. Aquinas jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first half,
with two touchdowns coming on Katie Cheeseman's quarterback sweep into the end zone, and a magnificent 90 yard interception return from Angela Sante-Boadu,
plus a stellar 2-pt conversion on Olivia Oshunrinde-Gayle's pass reception from Katie Cheeseman.
In the second half, the defence kept the speedy Arrows at bay and off the scoresheet, and the team earned a 14-0 shutout to start the season on a very positive note.
