The Senior Boys Hockey Cardinals faced Brampton rivals St. Edmund Campion Bears at home at the Greenbriar Arena. Coming off a come-from-behind victory
against the Bears the night before, after being down 3-2 at the end of the 2nd period, the teams traded goals in a fast-skating, hard-hitting couple of periods, but
found themselves down by one again at the end of the 2nd period, 4-3. The Cardinals flew out of the gate in the 3rd period, and never let up in scoring
3 unanswered goals in a satisfying 6-4 victory to grab top spot in their division. Here are a few pictures. |
