On Day 10, I took the high speed TGV train from Barcelona to Paris, about a seven hour trip. A very comfortable ride, it gave me a chance to read the second Veronica Mars novel "Mr. Kiss and Tell". Which was as much fun as the first novel "The Thousand Dollar Tan Line", and incorporated many of the old characters from the series, movie and first novel. I arrived in Paris late in the day, so I took a walk to the Parc des Buttes Chaumont, which you may remember as being referred to on a poster in Monica's bedroom in the TV show friends. After that I went to the Canal Saint-Martin for dinner, which runs 4.5 kilometres long and connects the Seine River to the 108 kilometre Canal de l'Ourcq running northeast of Paris into the woodlands.

Pictures 3 to 13 are views in the Parc des Buttes Chaumont, including the Temple de la Sibylle built in 1867, inspired by the Temple of Vesta in Tivoli,
50 metres above the artificial lake below. The Sibylle was closed recently, due to erosion on the cliff making it unsafe for visitors to be on the Temple.
Pictures 14 is the Maire du XIX Arr. building just outside the Parc des Buttes Chaumont.
