Dr. J landed in Madrid in mid-July, flying in early on the 16th, and arriving at the IBIS Centro Madrid Hotel, just beside the Plaza de Toros,
the stadium area where the bullfights happen.
Day 1 was spent on a lovely 40 C. day walking around the central old city in Madrid.
