The Varsity Girls Flag Football Cardinals opened the 2015 season at home against the Holy Name of Mary Royals.
Holy Name jumped off to a 6-0 lead on a punt return touchdown, but that was it - the defence shut down the Royals the rest of the way.
The Cardinal offence replied with three touchdowns, two of them from lightning fast running back and receiver Mikayla Dayes to score
a dominating 18-6 win. Here are a few pictures from the first half of the game.
