The St. Thomas Aquinas Theatre Arts program presented the Disney musical favourite, Aladdin Jr. On Broadway and Toronto theatre, companies of
actors perform a grueling schedule of 8 shows per week. The Aquinas class did 8 shows in 3 days, and will be doing more the following week.
The show featured Grade 11 dance and drama students singing, dancing and acting, with musical favourites such as A Whole New World,
and a triple threat in the role of the Genie. The size of the class permitted the main characters to be played by two different actors. The 12:00 p.m.
show on May 25th is featured on the first 12 pages, with the 12:00 p.m. May 26th show concentrating on the new lead actors on the final 3 pages.
