The Senior Cardinals upset number one T. L. Kennedy, and earned the right to face off at home against the Cardinal Leger Lancers.
The evenly matched teams see-sawed back and forth and were tied 25-25 at the end of the 3rd quarter. Down 37-35 in the final minute,
Marcus made a clutch basket to even the score in the final 20 seconds, but the Lancers hit a key basket with 4.1 seconds remaining,
and the Cardinals were unable to respond, suffering a heartbreaking 39-37 loss.
