The undefeated Girls Hockey Cardinals took on the currently first place St. Marcellinus Tigers at Greenbriar Arena. After
a scoreless first period, St. Marcellinus struck first for a 1-0 lead, but the Cardinals roared back with 2 goals before surrendering
a goal to tie the score at 2-2. And that is how it stayed until, with less than 3 minutes left to play, the Cardinals went ahead 3-2
on a goalmouth scramble, and the squad hung on with solid defensive work after St. Marcellinus pulled their goalie for the extra attacker.
