St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School, Brampton, Ontario Alumni Basketball Game April 29, 2014 The Aquinas bleachers were packed with paying basketball fans ready to cheer on their Senior Boys Cardinals, who were taking on a team of recent alumni from the Cardinal basketball program. A school brass band belted out a variety of tunes, Aquinas RAP dancers led the fans with cheers and an energetic halftime show, and there were 3 point shooting and slam dunk contests during halftime. The game featured plenty of 3 pointers, an array of dunks and lots of banging inside fighting for the rebounds. After being down for most of the game, the current Senior Cardinals came from behind to beat the Alumni 59-56 in a quite exciting finish to a fun basketball game.
